hey friends, i'm katelyn

think that after shooting so many weddings, I would have remembered EVERYTHING that wedding planning should entail. Well, that is so not true. I remember it being last august and my mother mentioning “Umm, KK… are you going to have PROGRAMS for your wedding? We probably need to get on that”.  I remember DREADING and I mean reallllllllly dreading designing these things because I knew that as I started to design them, we would think of more and more things we needed to add and this 1 page program would quickly become a booklet.  So jokingly, I present to you the 101010 Wedding Booklet. It was 3 pages front and back and

it was connected at the top with a simple ribbon.  I designed these in Photoshop and printed them at Jakprints.com.  After we FINALLY decided that there were no spelling errors or names missing, we sent it of to print and I felt a huge relief. For some reasons programs just were not something I looked forward to. However after it was all said and done, I absolutely loved the way they turned out! …. I loved them so much that I ordered an extra 250 and not have stacks of them left in the basement.  (Obviously this was a mistake, note to future brides, order one program PER FAMILY…. not PER PERSON!) ha! Oh the things I know now!! So enjoy your Wednesday and I hope this helps inspire maybe one of two brides out there!!
