Everyone always asks the bride “So how are you feeling?!” Some brides are a little jittery and nervous and then some brides are like Courtney…. totally relaxed and ready to do this!! Courtney told her mom “People say that your wedding day is going to be awesome but this is literally the best day of my life”. She was surrounded by her closest friends and she was about to MARRY her best friend of all!! Heath couldn’t adore her more. During their first look, Heath handed Courtney a letter to read. As she read his words, she looked up at Michael and I and said “He’s so sweet!”. This was something we already knew. You can just tell by the way he looks at her that he wants nothing more than to make her happy. Their relationship started by a chance encounter at JMU… I believe Courtney’s dad mentioned during his toast that Heath and Courtney’s first interaction was over a spilled drink in class.

Classic. Speaking of classic, these two had a beautiful, elegant wedding at the Thomas Birby House in Leesburg, VA this past Saturday. Michael and I just love that beautiful location and all of the quaint little streets that surround it! I can’t wait to share their portraits. It may have been 90 degrees but it sure did look like fall!! Heath and Courtney, we can’t believe it’s over already!! I hope your honeymoon is fantastic and all that you hoped it would be! We couldn’t have asked for a better couple for October 5th!! We’re so honored that we were a part of your big day! Enjoy your post!!!
