This day started with overcast skies. This meant that I could shoot their first look exactly where I wanted! We took a ton of portraits before the ceremony in the field, in front of the Inn, etc. It was gorgeous!! I’d take an overcast day ANY day! The amazing thing is that the sun came out in the evening JUST long enough for some “glow”! The Inn at Willow Grove has been on my “must photograph” venue list and I was thrilled to have a chance to shoot there! When Jason mentioned that he wanted portraits with the two story porches, I told him he was in good company! I wanted to shoot in front of the Inn too! It’s my favorite part of the venue!!
There were so many parts of this day that I loved. I loved getting to know Linsey and Jason’s families. Linsey’s parents are two of the most encouraging parents we’ve worked with all year. I can’t explain how amazing it is to have parents of the bride who love and respect our work!! We loved spending the day with them!! Jason’s sweet family came all the way from Michigan! His sweet sister with special needs always held my hand when I would show her the back of the camera and it just made me melt. Their dog Riley was allowed on the property and made an appearance for portrait time AND the reception. He made himself at home and laid on the dance floor during the party! :) I ALSO loved working with a DREAM TEAM of vendors! Not only did I get to work with Amanda Veronee, we also got to hang out with our family friend Richard Green!
Ok, before you scroll through this post, you have to know something….. Jason and Linsey are awesome. Why? Well…. they literally jumped a BARBED WIRE fence in their wedding attire for the sake of having epic portraits. I’m telling you…. KJ Couples are awesome. They want epic portraits and they’re willing to do whatever they have to to get them! I can’t wait for you to see this wedding!!
Linsey’s day was full of heirlooms! Grandma and Great Grandma’s broaches were included in her broach bouquet that her mom made!
The best bridesmaids gifts! Wow!
Sweet Riley!
