Michael and I photographed a wedding this past Saturday in Arlington, Va and the next morning we got up bright and early and photographed an engagement session! I’ll admit that I’m not a morning person but after this early morning Georgetown shoot, I may be changing my tune. There is something so peaceful about being up before the rest of the world. We felt like we had the place to ourselves and it was wonderful!!
Michael and I loved meeting Nick and Rebecca! Not only are they extremely photogenic but they are so easy to talk to as well. Rebecca is in med school and Nick is in the financial planning world. Both of those worlds are so different from the creative world that we live in and so we loved asking questions and learning what their life looks like! You can tell that these two are a team and that they are so excited to be husband and wife. There families are spread across the country and we can’t wait to meet them all at the wedding next year! If they friends and family are just half as amazing as these two are, it’s going to be one amazing day!
We took the majority of their portraits at a small park just above Georgetown and then we headed down to the infamous canal!! I loved having this space to ourselves on a slow-moving Sunday morning! Enjoy my favorites! I’m so excited to introduce you to Nick and Rebecca!!!
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.

Shooting in manual mode might seem complex and overwhelming at first but there is an easier way!
