This is one of those days that seems surreal. There was a time in my business 3 years ago that I was barely keeping my head above water and I didn’t have time to dream or grow or explore anything new. Those were the days before outsourcing and GREAT systems. :) Now, I’m still busy but because I have handed over some things that I don’t HAVE to be doing, I can dream again!! One of my most recent goals has been to be able to teach ALL TYPES of small business owners! I did a coaching session with my friend Amanda a few weeks ago and she’s a floral designer… not a photographer!!
It was amazing to me how similar my social media and marketing strategies were! So much of what I do in my business can relate to other small businesses. So naturally, I decided that I wanted to teach and offer education to other small business owners… not just to wedding photographers.
So this leads me to my exciting announcement!! For the first time EVER, we’re hosting a SMALL BUSINESS SOCIAL!! This is a 5 hour workshop in our home for small business owners who are interested in enhancing their social media presence and marketing strategies! I’m excited about this for several reasons! 1. I get to meet new people with new stories and new types of businesses!! 2. I get to focus on one VERY important area of my business and spend a good chunk of time breaking down what we do and why we do it! And 3. I’m excited to share information that is transferrable to all types of businesses. This isn’t just about how to get brides to book you. For so long, that has been my only focus when I’ve been teaching and now I’m excited to expand!!
