I equip purpose-driven entrepreneurs and photographers to turn their story into connection—and their gifts into lasting impact.

hey friends, i'm katelyn

Ashley’s dad stood up for a toast, and he shared that ever since the first day that he met Ben, he never once worried about whether or not he would take care of his little girl. He trusted him, and he could just see how much Ashley loved Ben from the way they looked at one another. As I think back to the first time that I saw Ben and Ashley together, I can say the same thing. Their love for one another is so apparent for others to see, and it’s beautiful! We have been family friends with the Stickleys my whole life, but only really started to spend more intentional time together during the last 3 years.

Their family has been such a life-giving part of our lives, and we love them so much! Ben’s sisters feel like our own and his parents (Randy and Donna) are two people we look up to just like we look up to our own parents. Their entire family loves the Lord and has such a beautiful dynamic. They all have such a special love and respect for one another, and I think that aspect of their family has prepared them so well for marriage.

Ben and Ashley shared the most beautiful vows that they had written to one another. They promised to choose Joy, even when it’s hard… to never let careers take priorities over their marriage and their family… to trust God with their finances… to always believe the best about one another and to always keep learning more about one another! Their ceremony was filled with beautiful worship, and I don’t think there is anything as beautiful as watching a newlywed couple sing and praise the Lord together. They have the strongest foundation for their marriage, and Michael and I couldn’t be happier for them.

It was such an honor to be the ones capturing their day! It was a hot one but the light was gorgeous, and our hearts were constantly full from being surrounded by people we love! This wedding was also special to me because my family was attending and they brought Evy! I wish it wasn’t weird to bring her to EVERY wedding because it’s so much fun to get a few smiles from her during our little breaks!!!

Ben and Ashley’s wedding was at the gorgeous Seven Springs Plantation! This historic wedding venue is one of our new favorite locations to shoot not only because of the beautiful light that surrounds the property throughout the day but also because they have SHEEP!!! We took a few portraits with a baby lamb named Cupid, and it was the cutest thing!!! Enjoy some of my favorites from their beautiful day!!! Congratulations Ben and Ashley! We are so very happy for you two!
