This will go down as one of the most unique KJ Weddings to date! Taryn and Jeremy were married over a year ago but because of the pandemic, their celebration had to be delayed.
Their day was the epitome of a perfect fall wedding. Warm colors, perfect temperatures, glowy light, rolling hills with fall trees…. it was just gorgeous. They had a toasting ceremony where guests stood up and shared wonderful things about their marriage, their relationship, and who they are as individuals. It was a beautiful time of celebration and such a special way to honor the newlyweds! Dinner and dancing took place for hours under the stars in a clear tent. Halloween evening never looked so classy!!
If there was one thing that I took away from this wedding day, it was how much Taryn and Jeremy were loved. That was a resounding observation that was shared throughout the day. Family and friends traveled from all over the country to celebrate with these two and I think Taryn’s dad said it best when he said “I think this was how it was always supposed to be… here, with these people, on this day… it was always supposed to be this way.”
Everything about this day was styled and designed by Jeremy and the amazing team at Orpha Events. It was incredible! Please don’t overlook the amazing colors and details inside the tent!! What a fall dream!!! Enjoy reliving the day through our eyes!

As a professional photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless family portraits over the years. Each session presents a unique set of challenges, from managing energetic children to finding the perfect backdrops.
As a photographer, I’ve often found myself in situations where the location seemed lackluster or uninspiring. It’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of the perfect setting, but the reality is that we don’t always have the luxury of shooting in the most visually stunning locations.
We rescheduled this shoot with the Smith family once because of a threat of rain. It wasn’t a totally horrible forecast but if there’s one thing that I learned about Colleen when I photographed her wedding, it’s that she loves the GLOW!
What’s better than doing a family session for one KJ couple? Photographing TWO and adding in Nonna and Grandpa!
As a professional wedding photographer, I’ve encountered my fair share of editing challenges on the job.
Have you ever closed out of Lightroom unhappy with the end result?
