not going to believe this but I have yet another couple from ALASKA to introduce you to today! I think these are subconscious hints that we should visit this wonderful state sometime soon! :) I’m so excited to introduce you to this sweet couple! Ricky and Corbin are currently living in Anchorage but I know Corbin and her family from our home church. We love the Wagners and let me tell you, we are so SO excited to be a part of this wonderful wedding!! I loved getting a chance to spend a couple of hours with Ricky and Corbin this past week while they were home for their holiday visit.
We drove into the country to a family friend’s farm and shot their engagement pictures. We were greeted with goats, gorgeous winter light and mild temperatures for December. I’m serious, we’re really lucking out with the weather this season and I’m SO thankful!!
Ricky and Corbin were amazing. I mean, if you can do a killer “model face” while listening to goats yell at you in the background, that is TALENT! I absolutely loved getting to spend some time with them and it didn’t take long for me to realize that these two are truly best friends. The way Ricky makes Corbin smile made my job so easy and I love how much joy you can see radiating through their images. They recently moved to Alaska together with some friends to begin a new adventure and an exciting new phase of life. What an amazing place to get engaged!?! Ricky proposed with a gorgeous yellow sapphire and I just love everything about their story! It’s such an honor to be a part of this season of their life and I can’t wait to share some of my favorite images with you!! Enjoy!! And thank you to the Brown’s for letting us use their beautiful property!
Oh Corbin, that smile!! So gorgeous!! Some favorites! It’s like we planned to use this tree!! Great color! So beautiful! Another one of my favorites!! GAHHH!! So lovely! Such wonderful glowy light! Another favorite!! I love weeds! They make the most beautiful portraits! :) Ok you have to admit, this is hilarious. These guys were a part of the whole shoot! Love this one!!Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
