I saw their Facebook updates starting on Thursday! Their bags were packed and they were headed to the airport!! They were flying to Virginia to celebrate and have one of the greatest weekends of their lives! Cameron, Courtney and Aria (their gorgeous baby girl!) traveled from Florida for their beautiful Pippin Hill Wedding, and it was nothing short of spectacular! The weather, the sunlight, the florals, the reception decor…. Cody from Amore Events blew everyone away!! I loved being back at one of my all time favorite venues and the fact that the hydrangeas were still in bloom was just icing on the cake!
Courtney and Cameron were such a joy to work with for their engagement session. They just “get it”. Photographers know what I mean! They are so photogenic, and it makes our job so incredibly easy on the wedding day. There were moments when I just had to tell Courtney that she seriously looked like she walked right out of a bridal magazine and that was the truth! Her beauty and her sweet spirit made this day a photographer’s dream!!!
As I was working on this blog post, I couldn’t help but think about our own wedding because today is our 7 year wedding anniversary!!! 7 years later, I CHERISH my wedding pictures so so much! It’s all that I have remaining from our big day on 10-10-10! Sometimes it hits me just how important our job is. Today is one of those days!! One day Courtney and Cameron are going to be celebrating their 25th, 50th and hopefuly even a 60th wedding anniversary, and they are going to look back on the pictures that Michael and I captured for them! What an incredible honor! I love my job, and I love this sweet couple!
Enjoy my *many* favorites!!! Also, a huge thanks to Cody from Amore Events for being just a gem, and Southern Blooms for creating gorgeous florals, AND Caleb of East West Films for being so easy to work with! This was an amazing wedding weekend!!
Took me a few tries to get this how I wanted it… but I’m loving the final result!
She’s stunning!
I think he was impressed!
So gorgeous!
Okkkk WHAT?!?!?! The light was just amazing!!!!
Married!!!!!!
It went from overcast to glowy and we put family formals on hold for a second! It was worth it!
