a busy day in Old Town Alexandria where these two met me for their engagement session. As we walked through the busy streets, we talked about the wedding (which is happening THIS Saturday!) and I got to know Walter and Adrienne a little bit. Sometimes when couples are cutting it close with their engagement session, they opt out of it because they just have too much to do right before their big day and that is totally understandable! However, I’m SO thankful that Walt and Adrienne made this shoot happen because it was WONDERFUL…from beginning to end!
The weather, the locations, Adrienne’s Anthropology obsession, it fell together beautifully!! My time with my couples during their engagement session is such a vital part of the overall wedding experience! I hear about their life, their story, the wedding details, etc. It’s great! AND an engagement sessions is a time to get my couples comfortable in front of the camera! We’re going to shoot their wedding portraits this Saturday and they are going to be PROS because of the great practice they had during their e-shoot last weekend! Seriously, these two are SO in love and ready to be husband and wife! Their joy and excitement just SHINES through their images and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding!! So enjoy my favorites and happy monday everyone!! Walt and Adrienne, I can’t WAIT to meet all of your friends and family as you celebrate together on Saturday!! Thanks for making this engagement session happen, I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
Girl, you are just too cute! Love this one!
Ohhh heyyy beautiful Asscher cut diamond! Gorgeous!
I. LOVE. FALL. The leaves were prefect! So cute:) AWESOME SHOES! We “borrowed” someone’s pumpkins from their front porch… I’m sure they wouldn’t mind:)
Adrienne wanted a tree shot and it’s actually hard to find a good tree in the middle of the city but this one didn’t disappoint! A favorite for sure!
I forget what happened here, but I LOVE the contrast of these two images! yes! This pic if for Walter!… for obvious reasons!
A final shot by the water!
