I love the end of summer. It’s senior season! This year photographing seniors has been bittersweet. As they are about to finish their high school years and begin a brand new college life, I am wrapping up my last year of college!! Where have the past three years gone?! After meeting Samantha and her mom and talking about where she wanted to go to school, it reminded me about my first year at CNU. I loved it. I tell all the younger girls at school how much I absolutely LOVED freshmen year and how they should cherish it. There will never be another year like it! Staying up til 4 watching Grey’s Anatomy when it first came out and McDreamy was still dreamy, having sleepless nights tossing and turning because we tried squeezing 3 girls on a single bunk! … living off of dining hall pizza and praying for chicken cordon bleu as we swiped our cards! There is just nothing like it and I loved it.
Sunday afternoon I met Samantha and her mom in good ol’ downtown Fredericksburg and we shot her senior portraits. The girl is gorgeous! Totally photogenic and I loved my time with the two of them. Despite the heat, it was a perfect afternoon and Samantha did an awesome job following my scatterbrained, and sometimes quite odd posing instructions.
Samantha, I wish you the very best as you graduate and enter college life! Enjoy your freshman year and make the most of it! You’ll love it I’m sure.
I know, I know. We TOTALLY lucked out with this doorway! I loved it!
gosh I love creaminess, don’t you? The 50 1.2, shot at 1/2000, 1.6, ISO 320 (for those that understand that jibberish:)
A year ago, we promised to find a solution for those who were complaining about their R6 raw files looking dull and lifeless in Lightroom. However, due to various circumstances, we couldn’t deliver on that promise until now.
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
