In this week’s YouTube video, I’m comparing my two favorite lenses: the Canon RF 28-70 f/2.0 and Canon RF 85mm 1.2L!!!
I bring my 85mm 1.2L with me to EVERY engagement session and wedding… but do I NEED to?! Could I shoot everything with the 28-70 f/2.0?! I decided to put it to the test and in this video, watch me shoot THREE shots – same place, same subject, same lighting – with EACH lens. THEN Ty exports & edits them so I have NO IDEA which is which!!! I look at each image WITHOUT knowing what I used to shoot them and you’ll hear me evaluate what I love (and don’t love!) about each one!! We’re going to find out if you REALLY need to bring both of these on a wedding day OR if you can get away with ONLY the 28-70!!
Do YOU have both of these lenses?! Which one is your favorite??

It’s no surprise that this GORGEOUS wedding was picked up by BRIDES Magazine! Between the perfectly paired color scheme, beautiful florals, an amazing venue, the list goes on. The details that Paige + Nikhil thought about for their wedding day are simply stunning.
I walked into the venue for the welcome dinner.. And I knew it was going to be dark.. But I didn’t think it would be THIS DARK!
There are several seasons of starting a business and what it looks like to continue to grow and scale as the business changes! We’re on the last episode of the Startup Series and the stage of business that I’m still in.
