The slow season is the WORST for us creative ones. After a month with no wedding, no engagement session, no NOTHING, I was dying to shoot someone! (Sounds awful, but really, it’s what I love to do) So when Rebekah contacted me about a month ago to shoot her wedding last minute, I was beyond thrilled! I met Rebekah 4 years ago. Our church was having a mission trip to the Bahamas. Please, don’t judge. It IS actually possible to have a mission trip and serve Jesus in the Bahamas. Promise. Anyway, we spent a week together, living on a 60ft sailboat and loving on bohemian kids. It was paradise. Literally. When I found out Rebekah was engaged ,the first thing I thought was, “Oh, what a lucky man!”. Rebekah is incredible. She is such a strong, beautiful woman with a deep heart. It was such an honor to shoot her wedding and to meet Joe, her handsome husband!
The florist was still working on the flower arrangements when I got there. They turned out beautifully!
Rebekah wore Joe’s mom’s dress! Way to be bold and vintage and creative!
Rebekah, really? You are gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous.
