I wouldn’t necessarily call this a destination wedding. However, it was for me! When Jamie first contacted me in the fall, she asked if I would be willing to travel to Blacksburg. I said yes and was so excited to be shooting at a location outside of central Virginia!  I loved having mountains in the background! However, that wasn’t the part I loved the most.  It’s always fun getting to know the bridal party and meeting friends but Jamie and Jeremy’s were so welcoming and hospitable! I absolutely loved her girlfriends and getting to know them throughout the day.  It just makes everything run so much smoother when there are fun people to work with!

I could ramble on and on about how their day went smoothly, how gorgeous Jamie looked and how Jeremy couldn’t help but stare at her throughout the whole ceremony but I will let you get to the part you’ve been waiting for! I do just want to say that it was so cute hearing Jeremy practice saying “This is my wife, Jamie” and hearing Jamie decide just exactly how she wants to pronounce her new last name! They are an extraordinary couple and It was such a privilege to serve them on their wedding day.

I LOVE this one. Its so un-posed….they were just walking into the reception and I caught Jeremy looking back. It’s so James Bond-ish!
