Chris and Abby met us at the battlefields last week on one of the days that was a perfect 78 degrees with just a little humidity! It was the perfect evening for an engagement session because just as we were getting ready to wrap up, the glowy sunlight started to peek through a break in the clouds! It’s totally fine to have an overcast session. I actually prefer it a lot of the time! However, Chris and Abby got the best of both worlds and we ended our time together with perfectly glowy sunset portraits!

These two met several years ago. Chris is from the beautiful mountains of Virginia and you can tell by his accent. I love that they are heading back to that part of the state for their wedding day! It just seems to fit them so well. Abby is just gorgeous (you’ll see what I mean in a second) and she’s in nursing school while planning a wedding! (superwoman!) Together these two have such sweet and gentle personalities. How we get to work with such amazing people just baffles me! I can’t wait for their big day!
