HOT. And I’m not talking “Oh it’s a little toasty”… it was close to 100 degrees. Normally, I would recommend holding off on engagement sessions until a cooler day but these two are getting married in a matter of WEEKS! We knew it was going to be tough but Judson and Catie were so great to stay out in the heat for an hour so that we could get to know one another and take some engagement portraits! I really appreciate their willingness to give it a shot despite the temperature and mosquitos and to be honest, if I hadn’t just told you how hot it was, you would never know!
They were awesome! Not only did I get to meet them but I also got to see their wedding venue! They’re getting married on Judson’s family’s property right on the James river and it’s just stunning. I can’t wait!! I warned them, they’re going to have to pull me away from some of these beautiful settings on the wedding day because there is so much to work with!
So enjoy these favorites of mine and get excited to see these two again in a few weeks!! Judson and Catie, THANK YOU for making it happen! Ya’ll look amazing and I can’t wait to see you again!!
