I first met Brooke when she was visiting my roommate Britney one weekend at school. We were all out to dinner and I remember seeing Britney look at Brooke’s ring and then I realized it was on her left hand! I remember asking “Brooke, is that real?! Are you really engaged!?”. At the time, we were just sophomores in college and so this was a big deal! She answered “yes” and explained that she had met this boy her freshman year at JMU. She explained that “this boy” was now her fiance and they were planning to get married the summer of 09′. Needless to say, they’ve had a lengthy engagement and are ready to be married! I had the opportunity to walk around Maymont Park in Richmond with them and do some engagement pics! It was so hot!  Erik, kudos to you for sticking with us! You’re a good sport!  They’re an awesome couple and I can’t wait for their wedding in June!
