One of my FAVORITE parts of this job are the relationships we form with our couples! We love our KJ Brides and Grooms!! It’s fun to follow their journey even AFTER their wedding! Some have kids quickly, some move, some change careers, some buy houses and some do REALLY awesome things like write an amazing Cookbook and have a feature on the Food Network!! WHAT?! Julie is a past KJ Bride who has been running a super successful food blog for YEARS and it has turned into something amazing!!! I’m so so proud of her!
When she asked if I would do a cookbook review, I immediately knew that was a job for my sister! She’s definitely the cook of the family and she loved every minute of this!! ENJOY!! Ps. To view Jason and Julie’s wedding, click HERE!

I don’t know about you, but I always cook WAY more food than I need to for me and my husband. It’s as if I forget we are only two people and instead become a large army! We get sick and tired of eating the same leftovers for the entire week!
So thank you Julie Wampler for being a LIFE SAVER! Julie’s new cookbook “Dinner for Two” is amazing! If you’ve ever struggled with making just the right amount of food for two, look no further. This cookbook is a must-have! Julie is the writer, photographer, and recipe developer for Table for Two; her cooking philosophy is “simple, healthy, quick, and delicious”! Julie’s Dinner for Two Cookbook has 70 recipes: 50 dinner entrees and 20 breakfast-for-dinner entrees. This cookbook is perfect for newlyweds, couples, empty-nesters, college students, families with young children, and holiday gift-giving!
Not only are the recipes the perfect portions, they are also delicious and easy to make! The majority of the recipes are ready in less than an hour and are made with ingredients you will likely already have on hand. I tried out three of the recipes, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Holy Yum Chicken Kebobs, and Skillet Salsa & Cheddar Chicken and let me tell you, they were TASTY! I will definitely be adding them to our go-to recipe list.
Enjoy these photos of beautiful food and go ahead and add Dinner for Two to your Christmas wish list!
Holy Yum is right!!
P.S. Isn’t it a beautifully designed cookbook?! So fun to cook from!
