I think we may need to make this a new tradition! Last week we traveled all the way to Blacksburg for two back to back engagement sessions, and it was the PERFECT week to do them! The weather was amazing, the leaves were at their peak, and the colors were just incredible!! Every time Michael and I shoot at a college campus I say “Do you think we still look like we could be students?!” Well this year that idea was thrown out of the window, because I was walking around with a very obvious baby bump!! ha!
That didn’t stop us from connecting with Ben and Kitt. They couldn’t have been sweeter!! We love meeting couples for the first time and just knowing instantly that we were meant to work with one another. They were so trusting and yet so excited. We photographed around the drillfield and down by the infamous Duck Pond! You really can’t go wrong with Virginia Tech in the fall. It’s one gorgeous campus that means so much to our family because we have two Hokies among us, and so I can understand why it’s so special to these two!!
Ben and Kitt get married next Summer, and then they will start their life together in Blacksburg! It seems like their wedding is so far away, but it will be here before we know it, and we can’t WAIT to meet not only their friends but also their sweet families! If their wedding day is as beautiful as their engagement session, then it’s going to be absolutely amazing!!! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time with these two!!!
Kelly is an incredible wedding photographer who has been shooting 90 weddings a year. I know, it sounds unbelievable, but it’s true! Kelly’s success and the volume of work she handles is truly impressive.
Your sessions should be working FOR you not against you!
Shooting in manual mode might seem complex and overwhelming at first but there is an easier way!
