This session is beautiful… if I do say so myself! It’s colorful, it’s vibrant, it’s full of joy and it’s also LONG! It’s a lengthy post because I just had so many favorites and I absolutely loved my time with these two last week! Paige, like a lot of our brides, is a photographer herself! She’s talented, full of life, energetic and creative. I felt the pressure to take this location that she knows well and make it look fresh and knew to her!! Nikhil is an audio engineer for Apple (which we think is fascinating!) and despite hardly ever wearing a suit, he wore one for Paige and made all of her outfit dreams come true!
Speaking of outfits, because Nikhil was in a suit and Paige was in a beautiful white dress, everyone that passed thought that they had just gotten married!! On-lookers cheered, clapped and shouted “congratulations!” to them during their entire engagement session and I loved it! It just added to the excitement and the fun of their shoot! Despite missing the sun on this Friday evening, we did have wonderful cool temperatures and plenty and fun locations to use! I’m thankful that these two trusted me not only to capture their engagement session but that they are trusting us to capture their wedding day! It’s such an honor and we do not take this responsibility lightly. We love these two and we can’t wait to see them again in 2021!!! Enjoy my favorites from their super fun shoot on South Congress street! (Also, don’t miss her RING! It’s an all-time KJ favorite!!!!)
As a professional photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless family portraits over the years. Each session presents a unique set of challenges, from managing energetic children to finding the perfect backdrops.
As a photographer, I’ve often found myself in situations where the location seemed lackluster or uninspiring. It’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of the perfect setting, but the reality is that we don’t always have the luxury of shooting in the most visually stunning locations.
We rescheduled this shoot with the Smith family once because of a threat of rain. It wasn’t a totally horrible forecast but if there’s one thing that I learned about Colleen when I photographed her wedding, it’s that she loves the GLOW!
What’s better than doing a family session for one KJ couple? Photographing TWO and adding in Nonna and Grandpa!
As a professional wedding photographer, I’ve encountered my fair share of editing challenges on the job.
Have you ever closed out of Lightroom unhappy with the end result?
