Dozens of our mutual friends got married and became “KJ Couples” and had their spotlight on the blog. While I was bummed that we didn’t have the GLOW that I had hoped for, I also knew that I could find a way to make the magic happen despite the gray skies. She deserved it. She’s been waiting for her turn for years and I am happy to report that some with some fun foregrounds and strategic compositional lead lines, there isn’t anything we can’t accomplish with a gloomy day!

Tom and Susan are just about as sweet as they come. Their story, their relaxed wedding experience, their calm demeanors…. it was a joy to spend a couple of hours together recently. These portraits were shot in our neighborhood. Nothing fancy or ornate, just some beautiful natural nooks in a few friend’s backyards!! I loved this shoot and I hope you do as well. Enjoy!
