He opened doors, he loved meeting her friends, he left work as soon as she called him in tears because she had just quit her job and he came with a quiche in hand…. because he knew she loves quiche. :) Sam explained (with a few pauses to catch her breathe and attempt to retain her tears) that she thought that she was going to be traveling the world. She just knew that she was going to live in London and not get married until she was 35 because that was THE DREAM…. and then she met Steve. All of a sudden her best days included him… and worst days were the days without him… and she started realizing that THE DREAM was actually life with Steven. She couldn’t go on with that story because the tears and mascara were flowing.

It was such a beautiful day with so many moments of joy and celebration. These two have such a genuine and passionate love for one another and it was SUCH a joy to photograph their day!! I can’t wait to show you this gorgeous rooftop wedding in downtown Charlotte!
