We arrived at her parent’s home and I always like it when I get a chance to start at a home because it’s so personal! The bridesmaids were finishing lunch in the kitchen while Arielle was getting her makeup done and the puppies were running around under our feet. You’ll recognize sweet, fluffy Willow from their engagement session! So much energy and excitement!! The girls got ready and then piled into a stretch limo and headed to the venue!! Their dresses were gorgeous and the weather was absolutely perfect!!
Their wedding day felt just like our wedding day exactly FIVE years ago!! As we photographed Shaun and Arielle’s day, I couldn’t help but think about how five years ago, we were doing the exact same thing! It was a reminder of how special our job is. We cherish our wedding pictures because they remind us of so many amazing moments during our own day that we loved. Shooting a wedding on our 5 year anniversary was so good for us. We loved celebrating with these two and it made me thankful that we spend our days running a business that serves people and leaves a mark on their lives.
Their ceremony was perfect. It was brisk but it was beautiful as well. The trees had just started to turn and the light was soft and glowy! After the ceremony, we did family formals and finished with everyone lending a helping hand with a “petal” shot!! Grandpa, grandma, brothers, dad and Michael all grabbed some petals left over from the ceremony and tossed them on the count of three! It made the most gorgeous portrait and it was so special to have loved ones involved in the portrait process!!!
Overall, Shaun and Arielle’s day couldn’t have been more beautiful! We may be on our anniversary trip but I pre-blogged this because I was so excited to share how we spent our anniversary!! Enjoy this stunning Running Hare Vineyard wedding. Also, enjoy these next few weeks because we only have FOUR WEDDINGS LEFT this year! It’s crazy!!!! 2015’s wedding season seems like a blur!
Arielle’s mom pulled this chair and told me to use anything I wanted. Their foyer served as a PERFECT bridal suite!
