In a world of blush bridesmaids dresses, Caroline chose black, and I love her for it! This one choice made such a chic statement throughout her wedding day!! The black and white stripes were incorporated perfectly, and Union Station was such an epic location for a party!!! These two (along with the help of Ginger and Blooms) did an incredible job planning their day! We’ve been waiting for their wedding day for well over a year, and I can’t believe it has come and gone already!! It was just as wonderful as I envisioned that it would be!!
Caroline and Mike had a traditional catholic mass at one of the most gorgeous cathedrals in DC! The sky was clear, but the winds were a blowing! We had a few wind issues, but honestly I would rather have a few gusts of wind to watch out for than to have a 30 degree rainy day! We made it work and the veil even took flight on its’ own a few times!! Mike and Caroline were so relaxed, and we could tell that they just trusted us to do what we needed to do to get beautiful images. That’s such a gift for a photographer! I loved working with these two and so did Michael! Earlier last week Michael asked which wedding was this coming weekend, and when I said “Mike and Caroline” he said “Oh yay! I love them!”. That pretty much sums it up. We can’t explain how thankful we are for couples who love us as much as we love them! It’s the greatest blessing of our job!
Mike and Caroline are heading to Thailand (jealous!) and I hope they have some internet access to see these beautiful memories from their classic DC wedding!!! Enjoy my favorites!

Oh where do I begin? This wasn’t just another wedding for me. This was a legacy KJ Wedding and I have been looking forward to it ever since my first email from Danny and Megan!
