The wedding day is always a blur. All of a sudden your hair is done and you’re waiting to see your groom. Then before you know it, you’re walking down the aisle with your new husband and the reception follows shortly after. It flies by without warning. All of the planning, rehearsing, and coordinating that went into this big day is suddenly gone! But it’s not really gone. I realized with this past wedding that I shot, just how awesome my job is. Until I release these images, I am holding onto the most vivid memories of Sean and Melissa’s wedding day. The memories are captured through my lens and when they return from their honeymoon, they are going to look to me for images that help them relive their big day. No pressure right?! It can be somewhat overwhelming at times but the joy that comes from providing couples with a visual story of their wedding day is priceless. Absolutely priceless.
After spending the day with Sean and Melissa, I left the hotel feeling so good. Not a “I’m so great” kind of good but more like a “Gosh, they’re in love and I love it!” kind of good! I loved watching Sean catch Melissa’s eye during the ceremony, seeing them laugh uncontrollably and watching them love their friends and family deeply. Sean and Melissa, you are a beautiful couple. Through your gentle spirits and genuine love for one another, I was reminded of the why I fell in love with this job in the first place! Thanks for being fun and full of life! I hope your time in Paris was fabulous and I can’t wait to share your images with you when you return! For now, these SEVERAL images will have to hold you over!
