When I knew Carly in college, I never REALLY had a chance to spend tons of time with her one-on-one. We were always in large groups and Carly seemed quieter than all of her other roommates. She has such a gentle and meek personality but since their engagements and now after their wedding day, I have LOVED getting to know her even more! She’s funny, so genuine and a joy to be around! I wished I could have taken portraits of the two of them ALL evening! They were so willing to do anything! Run, step in waist high weeds, step out onto boulders in the spring… they did it all!
Chris and Carly’s wedding was possible because they have amazing friends and family that all joined forces and made sure it was PERFECT! … And it was just that! Everything went so smoothly and I kept saying “Your wedding day is so relaxing!!”. I meant every word! It was perfectly timed and well executed! It was also a PERFECT 72 degrees with sunshine and no humidity! It was amazing!!! Big Spring Farm was the perfect location for their laid back wedding and I’m glad I got to shoot there again!
During the ceremony, Chris and Carly laughed, got a little teary and then vowed to BELONG to one another for life. Their pastor mentioned that there isn’t anyone else until they have children that they “Belong” to. This was so powerful and as he pronounced them husband and wife, they smiled at one another and cheered!!!! They were married!! Time to celebrate!! :)
