before the wedding, it was 30 degrees in Virginia. I was hoping and praying that that wouldn’t be the case in North Carolina for the wedding Saturday! Luckily, it was in the 50’s and was perfectly sunny. To make this wedding even better, these were friend’s of Michael’s and they are the most GORGEOUS couple. Haymes (Christopher) and Becca have beautiful smiles and huge hearts and I was so honored to be a part of their celebration! However, even though I knew the couple and knew some of the guests and had my husband with me the whole time… I was still nervous. I always get butterflies before weddings. It’s like the reality of how much pressure this jobs entails hits me all at once and I become nervous.
The great part is that I’m pretty good at hiding it:) I love my job and I love being around amazing people on one of the most exciting days of their lives….but there is a self inflicted pressure to get “money shots”…. especially when you are working with models! (literally, Becca modeled!) Like every wedding, I wanted this one to be perfect and I ALSO wanted to end my year of 2010 weddings with some awesome images!… Well I am happy to announce that the mission was accomplished!!! I couldn’t have asked for a more cooperative bridal party and bride and groom! They rocked EVERYTHING and I was squealing during all of their portraits! It was a dream. From the old warehouse to the Hayme’s and Becca’s superb “model faces”…. it was a photographer’s dream and I can’t wait for you to see them!

Haymes and Becca, your day was beautiful! You were surrounded by a crowd of family and dear friends that adore you and there is no doubt in my mind that the Lord rejoiced alongside of you as you promised to love each other forever. What a beautiful couple you are! I was such a privilege to capture your precious moments! I hope you’re enjoying the honeymoon and can find a little bit of wi-fi to see some images from the big day!:) Enjoy being married! It’s wonderful!!!
I was a little obsessed with the old piano… Haymes and Becca, I hope you like music! You have a lot of piano shots!
Work it girls work it!A few ceremony shots…
A few of their amazing friends!
And I’m so stinkin proud of my wonderful husband for these next two!:) He’s goooood:)
Probably my favorite from the whole day… it’s so emotional… there’s just something about it that gets me!
Again… another beautiful shot by Michael! So proud… so so proud.
Haha… so not flattering…. but it’s kinda cool to see where a shot comes from!
