Richmond received quite a gem when the Quirk Hotel opened up downtown! This stunning new venue hosts small, intimate weddings, and we had the honor of photographing one on New Years Eve! Between the classic neutral colors of the city streets and the rooftop view that overlooked the historic city, I was in a photographer’s heaven!

My favorite moment of this day was watching Calvin break down into tears the moment he first took a glance at his bride. The genuine joy that exuded from the two of them made their portraits captivating!! As we counted down to the new year on the checkered floor of the gallery courtyard these two newlyweds kissed, and the confetti fell from the sky! It was truly magical!
