  • A Lake Como, Italy Wedding Featured on BRIDES.COM

This is such an honor!!! I’m still PINCHING myself that I even had the honor of traveling to Lake Como and photographing this lovely couple’s wedding. And so it makes me really happy to see it highlighted recently on BRIDES.COM!!! Woohoo!! Greg and Kate’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. Literally. Michael was probably annoyed at how many times I said “CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS IS REAL LIFE?!” throughout the day, but I was seriously in a photographer’s heaven!

Everly’s Fifth Month

We are still navigating through all of the changes that it has presented! However, overall, this past month has been one of my absolute favorites with her! She’s so interactive and funny and joyful! She loves to scream, squeal and unfortunately… SPIT. But hey, it’s just a phase, right?

  • Our New Journey with Hip Dysplasia

Often when I’m teaching at a workshop, I get a lot of questions about sharing our personal life online. It’s not that people think it’s bad… it’s more a question of whether or not it’s really beneficial. The more I teach, the more I have realized that it’s not easy for people to openly share about their life and who they are online. It comes naturally to me, but that is not everyone’s reality. The reason I’m writing this post isn’t to pressure people into sharing something that they don’t want to…. it’s to give permission and encouragement to those who have a story that they are contemplating sharing, but are unsure about it.
