i looked at my “production” chart where all of my 2012 weddings are listed and I couldn’t believe that 3/4th’s of them have been shot!! It seems like just yesterday I was driving back from Brian and Whitney’s engagement shoot in Williamsburg!! The days and weeks fly by when you’re busy! As I prepped for their big day, I was excited because I’ve already seen Whitney in her gorgeous gown since she did a bridal session and I know how photogenic she is!! It was going to be a GOOD day. I just knew it! Michael was able to accompany me for this wedding and it always makes it better to have a side kick…. especially when your side kick is your husband. :) It was a beautiful day from beginning to end.
Williamsburg has always been so good to me when it comes to shooting weather! As Whitney walked down the sidewalk to your “almost” husband…. it was easy to see that he was a little nervous and she was just EXCITED!! He turned around and the tears began to fall. She was stunning. This is something he already knew… Whitney is just beautiful… but seeing her in a wedding dress blew him away. They hugged and kissed and hugged some more. Their day had finally arrived! These two have been dating for quite some time now. Their first dating adventure actually started in high school and then they reunited a few years later. Evidently Brian always knew she was the one because he saved the receipt from their VERY FIRST date! He included it in Whitney’s letter and explained that he knew it was her from day one. Ummm, that’s AWESOME!!
After the ceremony, we celebrated at The Settlement in Williamsburg. It was a perfect October evening for dinner by the pool!! Enjoy these favorites and have an awesome tuesday!!!
Loved Whitney’s second dress!! This piece of fabric with her initials was sewn into her dress and she’ll pass this along to HER children when they get married! One day this little piece of fabric will be FULL of initials! Stunning! Love this. And I love this shot that Michael captured… I Love big trees! yessss Whitney you’re beautiful! Ok, I forget what was so funny… but the pastor’s face is cracking me up!!! Married!!! Love. How beautiful?!
