Rob + Heather | Engaged

  • Carytown & Belle Isle Engagement Pictures | Richmond, Virginia

When people give me free reign to pick any location that I think would be best in Richmond, there are so many ideas that come to mind! There’s Church Hill, Shockhoe Bottom, The Tredegar, Belle Isle, Maymont, Byrd Park, Rocketts Landing, Main Street… and CARYTOWN! Somehow I always forget about Carytown and to be honest, I can’t remember the last time I photographed an engagement session there!

The Friday Few

  • A Thank You!

I was supposed to blog something else today. My blog calendar is jam packed right now with upcoming weddings and engagement sessions. This week was a BUSY one for the blog. I blogged a wedding AND two couples sessions! If you haven’t seen those… you’re going to want to! They are two of my favorite shoots of 2015 so far!! But then again, you probably have seen them already because you are the dedicated ones… the die hards… the most loyal fans we have! You’re the FRIDAY FEW! You’re the friends that check the blog on the slowest internet day of the entire WEEK!

Greg + Keri | Engaged

  • Old Town Alexandria Engagement Pictures

I feel like it would be accurate to name this the “blossom” shoot! There were so many opportunities to shoot underneath blooming trees and shrubbery during Greg and Keri’s engagement session! Every year I hope for a chance to shoot in the blossoms and I thought that my opportunity had passed. The peak of the cherry blossoms was over a week ago and so I assumed that all of the blooms were gone. I was very wrong! Old Town Alexandria was still full of flowers and it made for a perfect backdrop for Greg and Keri!
