much to make a pretty image. One vase with one peony would make me happy and keep me busy for a while! Those flowers are so photogenic! So often brides get so overwhelmed with having a MILLION DETAILS! I understand this. I was one of those brides! I wanted details everywhere and they WERE EVERYWHERE. I went a little overboard. However, not every wedding has to have over the top decor on every table. Simple is good! In this Wedding Wednesday post I’m going to show you just how many detail shots can be taken from just a simple bridal party table display. This was just ONE piece of Buddy and Jill’s beautiful farm wedding a few weekes ago.
I used all of the old vases and dishes that Jill had been collecting the last few months and then filled them with tulips and carnations from Martins and Walmart! Who knew?! The fact is, simple clusters of flowers with a few vintage details can go a LONG way. If you allow your photographer to have time to shoot details WELL…. they should be able to make one display look like a million little details! So brides, sometimes the best way to have a super detailed “look” at your wedding is to have a bridal party table that is decked out in your theme and colors and then have more simple centerpieces. There is nothing wrong with that at all! That’s what I did for my wedding! There was no way I could have had detailed place settings for 400+ people!!! Ah! No way! So I had a detailed bridal party table with place settings and name cards and then vintage birdcages, tall twigs and moss on the 8foot round tables for guests. This saved us a ton of money but our wedding still looked extremely detailed and most of that is because of the images of the bridal party table! See for yourself! :

And now here are some examples of how Buddy and Jill’s bridal party table went a LONG way! I think I used 4 bunches of Tulips and 3 bunches of carnations! Not bad!
